How do we define beauty? As times change, our concept of what is beautiful changes. In contemporary society, the force which drives these changes and insists on what the ideal body image should be is social pressure, which has been shaped by fashion and advertising. If one's own body image does not fit in with what society considers at the time as "beautiful", the social pressure can be cruel, daunting, and oppressive.

This body of work finds beauty where others may have been conditioned not to, focusing on the simple beauty of the human form, and how sculptural and artistically fascinating it can be.
